Video Tutorials are live!

Hi there, I hope this email finds you all happy, healthy and enjoying life. It is an absolutely magnificent day here in Sydney, Australia and I am planning on getting my work done as quickly as possible so I can get down the beach this afternoon and go and have my weekly glass of wine with my good friend Meredith.

Okay what have I been up to this week. Well as you know I am only working 3 days a week so there is never enough hours in the day, but I managed to get quite a bit done.

• I built a video tutorial on how to create a FREE website using Weebly. Check it out at my website www.pammieb.com
• I also have been researching a new niche to target and do a JV with my sister which is another step in the process that you will learn through my video tutorials. How to research and find out if a niche is even profitable before spending too much money
• I am running workshops early in 2009 with registrations for the events coming in thick and fast, so if you want to get started I highly recommend finding out how easy it is by attending one of my workshops in the newyear. • I built a weebly website for my girlfriend who is an amazing Australian Artist who wanted a place to send interested parties to look at her artwork without having to carry them around with her. So I created a free Weebly website. Check it out at www.poppetspaintings.weebly.com
• And today I am finishing off my workshop presentation with lots of examples and hands-on tutorials to show you exactly what you need to do step-by-step to start earning money on the internet. One of my biggest bug bears at the moment which was the topic of my latest article is what I call 'product launch spamming'. I don't know about you but I am so 'over it'. So I have decided to make a stand. Any guru I subscribe to who sends me a 'my mate product launch email' I unsubscribe from....I don't think I am going to have very many emails at the rate I am receiving these promotions. It is getting up to 20 a day and I think enough is enough.

Anyone who feels the same way and wants to stop filling the pockets of the 'gurus' who seem to have stopped teaching and just spend their days making money on unsuspecting newbies who do not know any better, than I recommend doing the same thing. Unsubscribe from their email lists and they will soon get the message. Why?

Because all GURUS know that the money is in the list. These guys are nothing more than really good marketers and they rely on really good copywriters to push the right emotional buttons to get unsuspecting buyers to spend their money. Now there is nothing wrong with that if they are providing value and selling their own products, but when it comes to jumping on the backtail of every GURU's launch, and abusing their email lists just so that they can make a commission, that is when I say enough is enough.

My rule is, if you have not read and implemented your last purchase then you do not purchase anything else until you have. You do not need every single latest gadget that these GURU's are promoting. They know that half of you won't even open the package or will get to page 2 and give up ...why because most of the strategies are above most people especially a newbie. They make you feel like you will not be successful online unless you buy this product - well that is nonsense.

My advice...don't buy anything that comes to you in the form of a promotion email. It is purely to fill the pockets of the email sender.

Find a couple of mentors and stick with them. If they have a resource page or recommend a couple of products that they are affiliated to that's fine these are usually genuinely helpful resources that you can use in your business. But if you get a 'don't miss out on this launch email with a whole lot of bonuses attached' ignore them. Why because you are going to get another one next week, and another one next week and another one the week after that. Keep your money in your pocket because there is no quick fix to this industry.

It takes a lot of time, energy, action and learning to make money online, anyone who tells you otherwise is just after a quick sale.

So I think it is time that the GURU's who are now 'so far removed' from their grass roots of 10 years ago, take a step back and actually start helping people. They have become the investment bankers of the internet and it is all about the 'money'.

Well as you can see I am quite passionate about this subject. If you want to learn in a totally 'non hype' environment with someone who really cares about whether you succeed and is not out to fleece you of all your money, plus a place where you will not receive hundreds of 'launch' emails. Then come and hang out at my website and lets become successful together.
