Wow where has January gone?

Well only one more week then Hunter starts school and I can get into this internet marketing thing full-time. I am so excited. For the last 6 weeks I have been playing Mum full-time but when your house becomes one big toy box you kinda get excited when 'school time' starts looming.

Anyway I have been spending this quality time finding lots of resources and information to implement into my business starting next week. I have also been doing a lot of niche research so I know which niches I am going to target.

What I have been learning over the last 6 weeks

As I have mentioned finding a profitable niche is hard work. They say only 1 in 7 niches you target, is usually worth pursuing. Wow that is a lot of work.

So I have been studying the infomillionaire report which I purchased before Christmas, finding the simplist ways to find a profitable niche without spending a lot of time or more importantly without spending a lot of money. What I love about this report is that it comes with a free program that helps you to promote affiliate products easily using google adword campaigns. I am going to trial my new niches with this program over the next couple of weeks and I will let you know how I go.

Google Adwords is so Frustrating But I found another Solution

I have been really frustrated with google adwords lately. It is really hard to try and market any product under $.50 cents per click (these days you are competing against the big companies with big advertising budgets).

I actually have stayed away from google adwords for the last couple years because so many people have been burnt. But unless you have a list to market to or access to someone elses list as part of a joint venture opportunity, it is the only way to find out quickly if your chosen niche is a dudd or not. So I have been learning how to use this marketing medium for the last 6 mths.

Today I purchased a fantastic product that Marland Sanders told me about today that shows you another way to use google adwords without spending a fortune. I am reading through it as we speak and I am quite excited. It shows you how to get lots of targetted traffic for less then 5 cents per click (unheard of in this day and age) and all above board.

And then finally for those of you who don't like the thought of even attempting to do a google adwords campaign ( and trust me I am experimenting myself) there is always SEO organic traffic methods. There are so many reports out there that tell you to:

• write articles
• create a blog
• swap links
• sign up to all the Web 2.0 like twitter, myspace, facebook etc
• SEO your websites for the search spiders

Honestly, who has that many hours in the day. Whoever said internet marketing was easy...he needs to take a reality pill. Get Off Your Bum and Do Something

Hope you are all getting excited and starting to implement your goal setting plan. Don't let another year pass you by. Times are tough but not in the online market, people are still spending so there is money to be made, once you learn how.

My Winning Week So Far

Then just yesterday I took my son down for an icecream and he chose a cornetto. We went across the road to eat it at the beach and when he opened his icecream there was a plastic cone inside. I thought someone was playing a joke or it might be a bomb or something.

Anyway I took it back to the shop and the shopkeeper was just as suprised as I was and he did not know what it was.

We opened the lid and inside it said 'you have just won a MP3 player'. So my son was over the moon plus he got another free real icecream. Sometimes it pays to go for a walk and clear your head!

Plus, just this morning I woke up to 3 ebay sales and another affiliate sale with a commission of $300.00. So while I was sleeping I made $400.00! Who likes the sound of that? My husband that's who.

So the year has started off fantastic and I have a feeling in my bones there is more to come. But I am the one taking action. It will not come to me, I have learnt the hard way to make things happen in my life I have to get off my butt and do the hard yards.
